Yoga With Melissa
We're all just walking eachother home-Ram Dass
I am a teacher of liberation.
We all deserve to get free and for that to happen, we must practice raising our consciousness both within ourselves and as a collective, greater good.
We must also remember that a great portion of this practice is unlearning; analyzing our inner constructs, false refuges, and imprinted belief systems.
I have taught yoga and meditation since 2009. In my classes, we will practice a combination of mindful movement, breathwork, and contemplation that will uncover a more holistic and intuitive version of ourselves while also creating more space, purpose, and intention in our bodies.
I teach a mix of styles in a modern, playful, and encouraging way with some good tunes as the structural background to a deliberate flow.
My practice is ever-unfolding but I draw in influence from Hatha, Ashtanga, Kundalini, and Iyengar yoga, Ayurvedic and Traditional Chinese Medicine, dance, psychology, and self-support.
